A pediatric cardiologist and a superior court judge have been selected as the inaugural recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Awards.
Dr. Timothy Hoffman, class of 1984, and the Honorable Judith Ference Olson, class of 1975, will be recognized June 7 during the awards ceremony.
Hoffman is the medical director of the Heart Transplant and Heart Failure Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Olson was elected to the Pennsylvania Superior Court in 1999 after serving as an Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas judge from 2008-2009.
