Bakery-Cafe Chain Opens First Pittsburgh Location In Ross
A rapidly expanding bakery-cafe chain has entered the Pittsburgh market.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Paris Baguette, a French-inspired bakery-cafe, has opened its first Pittsburgh location in The Block Northway.
The company with South Korean roots debuted in the United States in 2005 and projects to have 1,000 locations worldwide by 2030, according to the Paris Baguette website. Currently, it has about 150 locations nationwide.
According to Nation's Restaurant News, Paris Baguette has been able to expand rapidly because it focuses almost exclusively on baked goods and beverages, where its bakery-cafe competitors have drifted into sandwiches and other lunch items. The Paris Baguette menu includes items such as quiches, pizzettas, pastry franks and crab meat croquettes.
