Betty J. (Wachter) Lindenfelser, 83, of Hampton Township, formerly of Spring Hill, died Friday, May 27, 2011. Born May 9, 1928, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Marie Elizabeth (Walters) Wachter.
She was the beloved wife of the late Paul C. Lindenfelser and loving mother of Paul J. (Chris) Lindenfelser, Donna M. (John) Sobocinski, Karen J. (David) Richards and Robert J. (Becky) Lindenfelser; sister of John (the late Dolores) Wachter and the late Gloria (surviving spouse Walt) Knerr of Michigan; dear grandmother of Ami, Christine, John, Paul Brian, Lisa, Michael, Geena and Nicole. She also is survived by five dear great-grandchildren, step-grandson Michael and many nieces and nephews.
Family will welcome friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Inc., 388 Center Ave., West View 15229. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Ambrose Church of Holy Wisdom Parish.
