Boon for Beer Lovers: Hal's Bottle Shop Opens in Ross Township

Beer aficionados who are looking for something new, but don't want to buy a whole case, have a new place to shop in Ross Township. Hal's Bottle Shop, recently opened next door to Hal's Bar and Grille at 3225 Babcock Boulevard.

The bottle shop offer more than 540 different beers, plus growlers. Customers can buy a six pack of one brand, or mix and match. 

Owner Hal Koenemund is also adding a party room, behind the bottle shop in the same space previously occupied by Chalky's Pool Hall. Those renovations are ongoing.

The bottle shop is among five new businesses to open recently in Ross and West View. 

2. Jersey Mike's Subs, located at 7990 McKnight Road. The Jersey Mike's franchise has more than 600 stores across the United States. In addition to McKnight Road, there are also stores at 10640 Perry Highway in Wexford and 20300 Route 19 in Cranberry.

3. Rainbow Shop, located at 1014 West View Park Drive in West View. The chain targets primarily teens and young women and offers a plus size department.

4. Randy's Lube & Auto Care Center, located across from K-Mart in the West View Park Shopping Center. 

5. Grotto Bar & Grille, located at 400 Perry Highway in West View.
