Close Call: Ross Woman Unhurt After Massive Tree Crashes Through Roof

The 150 year old oak was knocked over by Wednesday evening's high winds.

Neighbors say a Ross Township woman was shaken, but unhurt after a huge oak tree slammed into her home during Wednesday evening's heavy storms.

The tree, on her neighbor's property, crashed through the side and roof of the brick home on Maple Street.

"She was in the living room at the time," said a neighbor who didn't want to be identified. "Fortunately, she doesn't use the part of the house where the tree hit."
