ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — As if the road restrictions on McKnight Road were not enough, PennDOT has announced lane closures on Rochester Road will begin on Aug. 11.

Single-lane alternating traffic controlled by flaggers will occur on Rochester Road between Reis Run Road/Sewickley Oakmont Road and Nocklyn Drive weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through mid-November to complete a culvert replacement project. The culvert is expected to reopen to traffic this weekend. Crews will conduct stream remediation work, roadway improvements, and miscellaneous punch list items.

Crews from CH&D Enterprises will complete the culvert replacement work as part of this $1.10 million project which also includes approach roadway work and pavement marking installation.
