Daniel "Quig" Quigley
Friends will be received 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the T. B. Devlin Funeral Home.

Daniel "Quig" Quigley, 62, of Ross, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at his home after a 3 ½ year battle with brain cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lindsay (Garrity) Quigley, daughters, Allison Hixon (Rich), Megan Carey (Damion), and Sarah Quigley, his son, Kevin and grandchildren Nicholas, Rachael, Natalie, Owen, Zachary, and Lukas. Also surviving are his sister, Catherine “Bits” Wain and brothers, David (Ellie) and Thomas Quigley.
Quigley was the son of the late Edward and Isabelle (Isherwood) Quigley, and brother of the late Patricia, Kenneth (Laura), Donald (Claudia), Edward (Cathy), and Sandra Quigley.

Quigley was a 1967 graduate of North Catholic High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971 as a military policeman at Sandia Base, New Mexico. He worked for United Parcel Service for more than 28 years and retired in 2007.
Friends will be received 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the , 806 Perry Highway in the North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial at , where he has been a long time parishioner, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Quigley had a strong desire to help the needy, and the family suggests that in lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Catholic Charities, 212 Ninth St. Pgh, Pa. 15222.
