Date for Sheetz Opening on Babcock Pushed to December
Crews have been working on the new 5,000-square-foot building, at 3025 Babcock Boulevard, since mid-summer.

Opening day for the new 24-hour Sheetz being built at the corner of Babcock Boulevard and Cemetery Lane has been pushed back to Dec. 7, said Jackie Schaefers, the manager of the new Ross location.
"We plan to open Dec. 7 at 11 a.m.," she said.

Crews have been working on the new 5,000-square-foot building, at 3025 Babcock Boulevard, since mid-summer. When finished, it will house a convenience store, gas station and car wash.
The store will employ about 40 to 45 people, with about 95 percent of those being new jobs. The store is still hiring for positions, Schaefers said.
