Daytime Restrictions to Occur on Babcock Blvd. in North Park

Milling will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, on Babcock Boulevard between Hemlock Drive and Wildwood Road to remove an existing centerline rumble strip from the new turn lanes, according to Allegheny County Public Works and PennDOT District 11.

Traffic traveling along Babcock Boulevard between Hemlock Drive and Wildwood Road will be restricted by the moving milling operations. Motorists should slow down and use caution in the area.

The prime contractor is Allison Park Contractors Inc. of Allison Park, Pa. The project is being managed by the Allegheny County Department of Public Works. PennDOT is overseeing the project due to the federal funding involved.
