Donald Andrew Elting

Donald Andrew Elting, 70, of Ohio Twp., formerly of Bloomfield, NJ, died Thursday, June 16, 2011. Born in Jersey City, NJ, July 31, 1940, he is the son of the late Harold & Marjorie (Tuers) Elting.

He is also the husband for 39 years of Connie (Gesario) Elting; father of Angela Carlucci, Jamie (Brian) Johnson, Michelle (Lou) Pieper and Donald Anthony (Melissa) Elting; brother of Harold, William and Robert Elting, Marjorie Oliveira, Maureen Lewczak, Beverly Kaszmar and the late Lorraine Varnell. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren & three great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at , 388 Center Avenue in West View. Services will be held at 4 p.m. immediately following visitation at the funeral home.

Elting worked for the Township of Bloomfield for 34 years. Previously, he was employed for Mountainside Hospital. He was a loving, caring person who will be missed by his family and many friends.
