Ex-Steeler To Open Marijuana Dispensary In Ross
A former Steelers player is entering the medical marijuana business in Ross.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Township commissioners have approved another medical marijuana dispensary on McKnight Road.
Commissioners on Monday unanimously approved Whole Plants LLC, which will replace G&G Fitness Equipment next to Laser Storm laser tag at 7763 McKnight Road.
The applicant for the dispensary was David DeCastro, a former Pittsburgh Steelers guard. DeCaastro, 35, played his entire nine-year NFL career for the team. He was a first-round draft selection in 2012 after playing college football at Stanford.

Whole Plants will join two other dispensaries on McKnight Road, Zen Leaf and Organic Remedies Dispensary. It is unclear when the facility will open.
