Festival of Lights in the North Hills Offers Crafts, Music and Carriage Rides

Admission to all events is free to the Friday event, but non-perishable food donations are welcomed and benefit the North Hills Community Outreach.

The Equitable Gas Festival of Lights, sponsored by La Roche College and the Sisters of Divine Providence, kicks off today at 3 p.m. with events on the college campus and at the Mother of Divine Providence Chapel on Babcock Boulevard. 

Events include a craft show from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., children's activities and a visit from Santa starting at 6 p.m., along with an ice sculptor and carriage rides ($2 a passenger) and a fireworks display at 8:45 p.m. 

Choirs will also perform at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
