Hartwood Mansion Opens Doors for Holiday Candlelight Tours
Hartwood's stately Tudor mansion was designed by Alfred Hopkins for John and Mary Flinn Lawrence and built in 1929. Every room in the mansion is decorated for the holiday season.

Candlelight tours of the Hartwood Mansion will be held November 28 through November 30, December 3 and 5 through 7, and December 12 through 14, according to the the Allegheny County Parks Department.
The candlelight tours will begin at 5 p.m., and the last tour will start at 8 p.m.

The mansion houses a collection of original English and American antiques. Its 16th Century architectural design affords visitors a glimpse into a part of Pittsburgh’s past. Every room in the mansion is decorated for the holiday season.
Tour admission fee is $6 per guest and does not include admission through the Celebration of Lights. Advanced reservations are required by calling 412-767-9200. These tours fill quickly, so reserve early.
