Interstate 279 Near McKnight Interchange to be Single Lane Wednesday and Thursday

PennDOT crews will be inspecting the bridges that carry I-279 over McKnight Road (Route 4003).

Traffic traveling on Interstate 279 near the McKnight Road interchange (Exit 4) will be reduced to single lanes Wednesday, July 13, and Thursday, July 14. 

Lane closures will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. outbound (northbound) on Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. inbound (southbound) Thursday. In the event of bad weather, the lane closures will be rescheduled.
