John T. Stanton
Stanton worked for more than 37 years for the Pittsburgh Board of Education and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
John T. Stanton, 74, of West View, formerly of North Side, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011.
He was the husband for 49 years to Sandra (Aymar) Stanton; brother of Coleman "Kevin" (Judy), Martin (Judy), Theresa Stanton and the late Betty, Peggy Seifer, Nora Hirt and Deke Stanton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and best friends James Byrne and Coleman Daley.

Arrangements by , 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday in St. Peters Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Forbes Hospice.
