Katharina (Schaffer) Gitzing
Family will welcome friends 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home.
Katharina (Schaffer) Gitzing, 94, of West View, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Gitzing, and the mother of Magdalene G. (William) Wilson and Anna (Corey) Gitzing-Howard; grandmother of Elena Clairice Howard and Joseph Corey "JC" Howard.
Family will welcome friends 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the , 388 Center Ave., West View. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in . Interment will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery.

Gitzing's family would like to thank the staff at Pristine Pines in Wexford and Horizon Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
