Kegs and Eggs Part of St. Patrick's Celebration at Perrytowne Draft House
The Perrysville restaurant is also taking extra steps to keep its patrons safe.
St. Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday this year, so much of the celebration will coinicde with Pittsburgh's annual St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, March 16.
The Perrytowne Draft House, located at 1002 Perry Highway, will kick things off with Kegs and Eggs at 7 a.m. (Customers should sign up ahead of time, see attached brochure.)
"In the morning, and we will provide a ride down to the parade, and we'll give people a ride home if they live up and around here," said bartender Felicia Bright. "For $15, customers get a T-shirt, breakfast, and green beer, it's a full day. If you get weird here and need to go home, we'll give you a ride home, too."

For Bright, it will be a long day of hard work, but it's an experience she's been anticipating.
"I just moved here from Colorado, so this will be my first St. Patrick's Day Parade in Pittsburgh. I'm really looking forward to it," she said. ""It will be a big day of green, probably Miller Lite, lots of Guinness, lots of Jamison, it'll be fun."

And if you're wondering if that green beer tastes any different...
"It's just a dye, it doesn't effect the taste," said Bright. "It's just a light beer that you add color to."
Good to know.
