Lawrence F. Snyder

Lawrence F. Snyder, 75, of Bellevue and McKees Rocks, died Sat., May 28, 2011. He was born March 6, 1936 in Winooski, Vt., son of the late Lawrence F. and Alice (Abair) Snyder.

He was the beloved husband for 50 years of Catherine L. (Greco) Snyder, and the loving father of Sandra Tadda. He was brother of Bob, Sandy, Linda, Susan, Cheryl, Debbie and the late Don and proud grandfather of Gregory, Cierra and Cassandra Tadda.

A U.S. Marine and retired Air Force Veteran, Snyder was a flight engineer with the Air Force for more than 22 years, serving at various bases and locations throughout the world. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his precious grandchildren.

At the request of the family, services will be private. Burial with military honors will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to a charity of choice.
