Man Arrested After Perrysville Police Standoff

One man arrested after a several hour-long standoff with police in Perrysville North.

A man was arrested after a two-hour police standoff in Perrysville North on Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Pittsburgh Police arrested Calvin Brundidge, 30, after a two-hour standoff in an apartment building in the 4000 block of Perrysville Avenue, the Pittsburgh Police Department said in a news release. Police responded to a tip at approximately 8 p.m. about a man inside the apartment building who was possibly wanted on multiple Allegheny County warrants, police said.

After responding to the scene, Brundidge refused to come out and was believed to have a gun, according to the release. Pittsburgh Police called SWAT and ultimately arrested Brundidge after a standoff lasting two-hours.

Brundidge was taken to Allegheny General Hospital to be check out before being transported to Allegheny County Jail.
