Man Charged In McKnight Road Shooting

The man also is accused of firing shots at a U.S. Postal Service worker.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A man charged in a Jan. 5 shooting on McKnight Road previously was accused of opening fire on a postal worker in Pittsburgh later that day.

Martinel Humphries, 28, has been charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, carrying a firearm without a license and other charges related to the McKnight Road incident.

Humphries allegedly fired shots at two people, hitting one person and several vehicles along McKnight. Shortly thereafter, he allegedly fired shots at a U.S. Postal Service worker on Waldorf Street in the city's Perry North neighborhood. The worker was not injured.
