Man Struck By Vehicle In West View

WEST VIEW, PA — A 73-year-old man was struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening in the area of Perry Highway and Wellington Drive.
Allegheny County police said the incident happened at around 7:54 p.m. Preliminary information shows the man was walking southbound on Perry Highway when he attempted to cross the roadway and was struck. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene. Police did not indicate if any charges will be filed.
