Massive Ross Auto Shop Fire Rekindles

Three firefighters were hurt battling a blaze that initially erupted Wednesday at a Ross auto shop.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters Thursday morning returned to the scene of a large fire that destroyed an auto shop Wednesday. The fire apparently rekindled.

The blaze at Tao's Auto Service on the 3100 block of Babcock Boulevard initially broke out at around 6 p.m. Wednesday.

At least three firefighters were treated for minor injuries at area hospitals.

According to a Ross Township EMSA Facebook post, multiple Ross and West View EMTs and paramedics, along with multiple fire departments and Ross police, responded to the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
