McKnight Road Crossover To Test Motorists' Patience
PennDOT has announced a traffic crossover for a stretch of McKnight Road. Get the details here.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — More traffic headaches are on the way for motorists traveling on McKnight Road.
PennDOT has announced that southbound traffic will be shifted into the northbound lanes on Saturday as work begins on the bridge over Babcock Boulevard. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, both in the northbound lanes, between Ross Municipal Drive and Brookview Lane.
The crossover will be in effect through late April.

The crossover work will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, with traffic being routed to the outermost lanes while a barrier is installed and lines are painted on the road.
The on-ramp from Babcock Boulevard to southbound McKnight Road will be closed while the crossover is in place. Here is the posted detour for the ramp:

West of the closure
- Westbound on Babcock Boulevard
- Continue on Babcock Boulevard
- Right onto Siebert Road
- Right onto McKnight Road
- Follow southbound McKnight Road to the closed ramp
- End detour
East of the closure:
- Eastbound on Babcock Boulevard
- Babcock Boulevard becomes Peoples Road
- Continue straight onto Evergreen Road
- Follow Evergreen Road to McKnight Road
- End detour
