New Sub Shop to Open Today in McCandless Crossing
DiBella's Old Fashioned Submarines, a 1940s-themed restaurant, is offering free subs for a year to the first 10 customers.

DiBella’s Old Fashioned Submarines, a Rochester, NY-based restaurant chain, is opening a new location Wednesday in McCandless Crossing.
The new business, at 9030 Saint Simon Way, is the company's fourth location in Pittsburgh. It also has restaurants in Robinson and Cranberry Townships as well as in Market Square in Downtown Pittsburgh.
DiBella’s restaurants offer a variety of hot and cold subs, ranging from traditional Italian cold-cut sandwiches to buffalo chicken subs. DiBella’s also offers catering services, including sub trays, boxed lunches and cookie trays.

“We are really looking forward to doing business in McCandless,” said Jim Paladenic, DiBella’s chief operating officer, in a statement sent via email. “McCandless Crossing is a great development, and we see a ton of potential in the area.”
The restaurant will give away free subs for a year to the first 10 customers after the doors open at 10 a.m., according to a company press release.

The promotion is limited to one per household, and only numbers issued by DiBella’s will be valid for people waiting in line.
Regular hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
DiBella’s restaurants have a 1940s corner-restaurant theme.
