North Hills High School Planetarium to Host Double Features in April
All shows are free and open to the public.
North Hills High School planetarium will welcome community members in April for two shows aimed at specific age groups. A double feature of two back-to-back shows will be shown on the 24-foot planetarium dome on April 9, 17 and 19. “What’s Out There?” starts at 6:30 p.m. and is targeted for younger children. “The Wright Way to Fly” will follow at 7:15 p.m. and is appropriate for older children through adults.
“What’s Out There?” is based on a children’s book about space and educates viewers about the solar system with information on planets, stars, comets and other celestial bodies.
“The Wright Way to Fly” follows Wilbur and Orville Wright from their days as children interested in flying kites and building toys to successful bicycle shop owners through their development of the first powered aircraft in 1903.
