North Hills High School Students Chosen for Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Concert

The concert will be held at Heniz Hall.

Three instrumental students at North Hills High School have been selected to learn from the professionals in a special Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra event.

Sophomores Christie Adamiak, who plays violin and Eric Meister, bass, along with freshman Maria Clegg on cello, will rehearse and perform alongside professional counterparts during the 21st annual EQT Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Side-By-Side Concert.

The concert will be held at 7 p.m. April 30 at Heniz Hall and will be conducted by the orchestra’s Assistant Conducter Fawzi Haimor.

Leading up to the concert, students participate in five rehearsals where they will learn from and practice alongside noted musicians.

Participants were selected based on a competitive application for the prestigious event.
