2 North Hills School Board Incumbents Re-Elected

They will be joined by two newcomers on the board following Tuesday's election.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Incumbent school directors Allison Mathis and Sandra Kozera were re-elected Tuesday, with two newcomers also proving victorious. Michael Santucci and Elizabeth Nease also were elected to fill the other two of the four vacant seats on the board.

With 100 percent of the votes counted, the Allegheny County election's division unofficial results:

  • Santucci: 6,o29
  • Mathis: 5,552
  • Kozera: 5,406
  • Nease: 5,186.

Finishing out of the running were Joe Muha with 4,399 votes, Dale Bricker Jr. with 4,275 and Jim Barr with 1,561.

The district, composed of Ross and West View, has nearly 40,000 residents. Approximately 4,700 students attend its six schools. The district employs about 700 people, including 330 teachers.
