North Hills School District Seeks Budget Committee Members

Membership on the committee is open to parents, non-parent taxpayers, senior citizens and people who operate businesses or practices within the school district.

Residents of the are invited to serve on the Public Budget Committee to review revenue projections and expenditures for the 2012-2013 school year.

Committee membership, which represents a cross-section of Ross Township and West View Borough taxpayers, is open to parents, non-parent taxpayers, senior citizens and people who operate businesses or practices within the school district.

Director of Finance and Operations David Hall and other administrators will attend the committee’s four meetings to answer questions and provide explanation of the budget process. The committee is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. at the district’s , on these Thursday evenings:

The School Board is scheduled to vote on the preliminary budget during its legislative meeting on Jan. 23. There will be a vote on the proposed final budget on April 30, and approval of the district’s final budget/taxes is set for June 4.
