North Hills Students Named Finalists in National Photography Contest
Their artwork will be published in the Best of College and High School Photography 2013 and College Edition of Photographer's Forum Book
North Hills School District students have been selected as finalists in the 33rd annual College and High School Photography Contest sponsored by Nikon.
Photographs by North Hills High School senior Afia WaMwenze, junior Alicia Drosendahl and sophomore Imani Patterson were chosen for the honor from among more than 16,700 photographs taken by students from around the world.
Their artwork will be published in the Best of College and High School Photography 2013 and College Edition of Photographer’s Forum Book.

The contest was judged by professionals from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif., Santa Barbara City College and Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Each student is a member of the school’s Photography Club advised by high school art and gifted teacher Regina Moorby.
