Patch Pet of the Week: Lionel
Lionel, a German Shepherd mix, would love a family or person who is active and would take him on long walks, hikes or jogs.

Lionel is a seven-year-old black and tan German Shepherd mix who readily seeks attention and wants to please everybody. He gently takes treats as he looks at you with his soft eyes that say “I will love you, I promise!” He knows the sit and stay commands and is polite on a leash.
German Shepherds are working dogs, and Lionel will continue to need to learn to keep his mind stimulated. A great way to help Lionel with this would be to take a class at Animals Friends University. It would be a great bonding experience too!
Lionel would love a family or person who is active and would take him on long walks, hikes or jogs.
Because Lionel loves he people so much, he wants to be the only dog in your home, so he can suck up all your love for himself. He is fine in a home with children over age nine. If you think you have the love in your heart for a beautiful boy like Lionel, he is anxiously waiting to meet you here at Animal Friends.
