My name is York, and I am a 15-year-old dachshund/beagle mix. Even though I am an older gentleman, don't let my age fool you. I am still very spry for my age and love to go on walks. I also love to just relax in the sunshine.
I have spent some time in a foster home, and my foster family had nothing but great things to say about me. One thing that they said was that I am housebroken. I also get along great with dogs and cats. They have a really comfortable couch, and I love to curl up on it to sleep. I am a little shy, but they say that I am a very sweet dog.
Due to my age, and the fact that I am not very playful, I think a home with older children would be best. I would hate to disappoint a child who wanted to play ball. And remember, I like cats and dogs, so I could probably get along with yours as well!
