Peter T. Phaturos

Peter T. Phaturos, 80, of West View, died Monday, May 30, 2011. He was born Jan. 17, 1931, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Peter and Eugenia (Mandalozis) Phaturos.

He was the beloved husband of Dorothy M. (Grech) Phaturos; loving father of Joseph P. (Arlene) Phaturos; brother of Nicholas and James Phaturos, Liberty DiGacomo and Evelyn McGoldrick; grandfather of Michelle Szczerbiak and Timothy Phaturos; great-grandfather of Robert, Elizabeth, Joseph and Calista.

Family will welcome friends 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Inc., 388 Center Avenue in West View 15229. There will be a Trisagion Service at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in the St. George Chapel of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Bldg. Fund, 495 Browns Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
