Popular Pittsburgh Restaurant Closes
A Pittsburgh restaurant that drew thousands to its debut has shut its doors forever.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — After a five-year run, the Wahlburgers location at The Block Northway closed over the weekend.
The move was announced on social media.
"We appreciate all of the staff and customers over the past couple of years," a Facebook post stated.

In June of 2018, several thousand fans of the Wahlberg brothers packed The Block Northway as Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg appeared at an opening event for the restaurant.
Mark Wahlberg was known as singer Marky Mark before starring in movies such as “Boogie Nights” and “Planet of the Apes.” Donnie Wahlberg was a member of New Kids on the Block and starred in “The Sixth Sense” and “The Saw” movie franchise. Paul Wahlberg is a chef.

There is no word yet on a potential replacement for the restaurant space.
Wahlburgers other Pittsburgh location in Robinson remains open.
