Popular Ross Brewpub To Open Second Location

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Hundreds of people flocked to Necromancer Brewing Co. on Babcock Boulevard over the weekend as Necromancer Brewing Co. celebrated its second anniversary.

If that isn't evidence enough of the bar's popularity, this should be: Necromancer appears poised to open a second location later this year. The brewery has a pending liquor license at a location in Pittsburgh's Greenfield neighborhood, according to Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board records.

For more than a dozen years, the space at 563 Greenfield Avenue was occupied by Hough's. That bar closed last week. It's unclear when Necromancer will open there.

Necromancer's Ross location is closed through Wednesday while taproom renovations occur, according to the brewery's website.
