Primanti Bros. Prepares To Open Ross Location

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Primanti Bros. is coming to McKnight Road. The former Don Pablo's in McIntyre Square has been converted into the popular chain, which specializes in sandwiches slathered in coleslaw and french fries.

The new location will open next week. It is two stories tall and has private event space.

The expanding restaurant chain was founded in 1933 in Pittsburgh's Strip District.

Also in Ross, the former Kretzler's Tavern on Babcock Boulevard is being renovated and will reopen soon as the sixth restaurant in the Mike & Tony's Gyros chain. A Pittsburgh staple since 1973, Mike & Tony's has locations Downtown and in Bridgeville, the South Side, Moon and Dormont.
