Primary 2013: Two Ross Commissioners Not Seeking Re-election, No New Candidates in West View
The most hotly contested race is for Ross Tax Collector.

The following information was provided by the Allegheny County Elections Division.
Primary election day is Tuesday, May 21. The general election is Tuesday, Nov 5.
Four seats on the Ross Township Board of Commissioners are up for election this year with two incumbents not seeking re-election.

Ward 2
Commissioner Chris Eyster is not running
North Hills School Director Jeff Meyer is also running for commissioner, and is unopposed in the Republican primary.

Ward 4
Incumbent Democrat Lana Mazur is unopposed in both the primary and general election in November.
Ward 6
Incumbent Democrat David Mikec Sr. is unopposed in both the primary and general election in November.
Ward 8
Longtime incumbent Pete Ferraro is not seeking reelection.
Republican Jeremy Shaffer is unopposed in the spring primary. He will face Democrat Walter Salachup.
Tax Collector
Incumbent Donna Carey stepped away from the work in June of 2011, deputizing Jordan Tax Service to handle tax collections for the township and the North Hills School District.
Republican Clifford Bright is unopposed in the spring primary.
Three Democrats are seeking the nominaiton, Ross Commissioner Jerry O'Brien, George Roderus, and Stephanie Conners-Maguire.
West View Races
Mayor
Incumbent Democrat J.R. Henry is unopposed in both the spring primary and general election.
Tax Collector
Incumbent Democrat Rita Schwarzmeier is unopposed in both the spring primary and general election.
Members of Council
Incumbent Democrats William Aguglia, John Koerts, Robert Schellhaas and Bryan Kircher are all unopposed in both the spring primary and general election.
