Re-Enactors To Show How 18th Century Americans Celebrated Christmas at Neville House

The holidays are fast approaching, and re-enactors at  will demonstrate how Americans celebrated Christmas in the 18th century.

 will play host to its annual Holidays at the Neville House from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The re-enactors will give information about the historic house, explain  and offer a candlelight tour in the evening. Visitors can learn how holiday customs such as Twelfth Night, Boxing Day and the firing of the Christmas guns are different from modern-day celebrations.

Costumed guides, holiday displays and traditional decorations will be part of the event.
