Ross Chef Booted Out Of Gordon Ramsay's 'Hell's Kitchen'
A Pittsburgh chef's participation in celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's popular show has ended.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — The lobster proved to be the final straw for Mattias Butts of Ross, who was eliminated from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's popular Fox TV show "Hell's Kitchen."
Butts, a chef at Alta Via in Fox Chapel, was dismissed by Ramsay on the show's most recent episode for bringing Ramsay some undercooked lobster that he prepared. According to HellsKitchenFandom.com, Ramsay slammed it into his chest, virtually telegraphing his fate.
For the few who are unfamiliar with show "Hell's Kitchen" is a reality competition cooking show. It involves two teams of chefs working in a kitchen set up in a TV studio.

An elimination format cuts a field of 20 down to a single winner over the course of each season. In a usual episode, two contestants are nominated for elimination, with Ramsay then axing one from the show.
According to the website, Butts was eliminated for the raw lobster and showing no improvement in the three services he prepared on the show.

"Mattias has had three services to impress me," Ramsay said as he axed him from the program. "Unfortunately, he struck out."
