Ross Dance Studio Plans Move to New Location

The Dance Explosion Arts Center is planning to move several miles up the road from its current location at 2014 Babcock Boulevard in Ross Township.

The Ross Township planning commission has given arts center owners the okay to renovate the building at 5505 Babcock Boulevard, next to the Northway Car Wash, which had been home to Cabinet World.

Ross Township commissioners have the final say, and are expected to vote on the plan at their next meeting on Aug. 5.

According to plans submitted to the planning commission, most of site improvements will occur on the inside of the building. There will be additional lighting, landscaping, and updated signage.

According to its website, DanceExplosion Arts center offers a variety of classes including, but not limited to Ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, hip hop, contemporary, modern, and tumbling. Classes are also offered for solos, duets, or competitive dance.

Cabinet World is in the process of relocating to the Cranberry/Seven Fields area.
