Teen Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In North Hills Village Lot

PITTSBURGH, PA — Grief counselors are on the scene at Taylor Allderdice High School in Squirrel Hill today following a student's death over the weekend. Christopher Lucas, 15, was killed after being struck by a car in the parking lot of North Hills Village in Ross.

The accident occurred at around 4:40 p.m.

Police are still investigating the incident but said the driver of vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with them.

The Pittsburgh Public School District issued this statement on the teen's death: "Christopher was known as an unconventionally funny young man who loved a good joke. He is remembered for his kind heart, strong will to learn and love for drawing cartoons."
