Third Annual Kids Carnival Raises Cash for School Supplies

The carnival will be held today on Harden Drive from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event includes carnival games — which cost $0.25 a ticket to play — food (pizza, cookies, hot dogs) and a Chinese Raffle. Tickets will also be given away to the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Zoo, and Kennywood. 

The event has raised about $1,600 each year for two years in a row. The last two years the proceeds benefitted Hair Peace Charities. 

This year's event supports the North Hills Community Outreach organization by supplying local children in need with fully packed backpacks for Back to School.
