West View Council Meets Thursday, Feb. 9

The West View Borough Council will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, for its regularly monthly meeting. 

All meetings are open to the public and will be held in council chambers on the second floor in the 

The following items are on the agenda: 

1. Council to consider appointing a primary voting delegate, a first alternate delegate and a second alternate delegate to the Allegheny North Tax Collection committee. All are unlimited appointments in order to fulfill the requirements of Act 32 pertaining to earned income tax collections. 

2. Council to consider the results of the bid for the "as is" sale of a used 2006 Ford Crown Victoria police cruiser with 78,523 miles. 

3. Council to consider appointing a lieutenant and a sergeant for the . 

4. Council to amend the minutes of December 4, 2011 — under reports from the officers finance report section — specifically being all six instances of "December" to be amended to "November" — within the approved minutes. 

5. Council to consider Ordinance No. 1463, which is an ordinance authorizing the incurrence of nonelectoral indebtness of the borough regarding the borough's general obligation bonds under the local government unit debt act.

6. Council to consider Resolution No. 1386, a resolution relative to Allegheny County 2011 hazard mitigation plan.
