West View Police Blotter: July 17 - July 20

West View Police Department supplied the following information. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, July 17

A 20-year-old male was arrested and charged with theft and receiving stolen property after seven vehicles on Adrian, Bronx and Yale avenues were reported broken into in the early morning hours. Loose change and a GPS unit were reported missing. All the vehicles had been unlocked, police said.

A 29-year-old male was arrested for drug possession after a traffic stop at 12:09 a.m. on Perry Highway.

A 31-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence at 1:45 a.m. on Center Avenue.

A 45-year-old female was arrested for driving under the influence at 9:50 p.m. on Glenmore Avenue.

Tuesday, July 19

A 29-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence at 2:20 a.m. on Perry Highway.

Wednesday, July 20

A 22-year-old female was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop at 12:58 a.m. on Center Avenue.

An 18-year-old male was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop at 2:10 a.m. on Perry Highway.

A 1995 blue Nissan Maxima was reported stolen from the 200 block of Clairmont Avenue. Keys to the vehicle were kept in the wheel well above the tire, police said.
