Our first ever "Deck the House" competition kicks off this week. We'll be looking for your photo or video submissions featuring your decked-out house, which you will be able to upload yourself (Details coming soon). Readers will vote for the Best Decked Out House in their neighborhood, and that home will go on to be pitted against the other "best of" houses around the country.
What's at stake?
Once voting concludes at the end of December, 24 finalists will be selected from across our 860 national Patch sites, and all 24 finalists will have their December electric bills paid by Patch (up to $500).

Ultimately, the 24 finalists will be posted across our Patch sites through Jan. 8, when readers will select their top pick for Best Decked House. The winner will get $100,000 for his or her town's schools.
