Woman's Death Outside Of Ross Assisted Living Facility Being Probed

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Township police and the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services are investigating the death of a woman found dead outside her personal care home.

Nancy Tyler, 82, was found dead Sunday outside of Mt. Assisi Place in the 900 block of Forest Ave. Her absence from the personal care facility was not noticed by Mt. Assisi Place staff but by a family member who had gone to visit her.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office listed the cause of death as athersclerotic cardiovascular disease. The death was ruled an accident.
