Another Burglary at Schwenksville Liquor Store

A police report does not indicate a conviction. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

 

are investigating a burglary at the Schwenksville Wine and Spirits store; it occurred sometime between 12:05 and 2:21 a.m. March 10, according to a report.
Police said the perpetrator gained entry to the store by “smashing the right side glass entry door. Once inside, (the burglar) then walked to the front display case and removed items from the display.”
The burglar removed five bottles from the display and then left the scene, dropping one bottle while exiting, the report states.
It is not stated whether or not this burglary is connected

Police: Driver Found After Fleeing Crash Scene
Pending results of a lab analysis, Henry Tenney, 21, of Trappe could face charges, including driving under the influence and hit-and-run, in connection with a one-vehicle crash in Trappe shortly after 2:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
According to a police report, Tenney was driving a 2000 Hyundai Elantra east -- at a high rate of speed -- on Main Street, west of the intersection with Cherry Avenue. Tenney allegedly lost control of the vehicle, which began to rotate in a counter-clockwise direction, then traveling across the westbound lane, where it struck the curb on the north edge of the roadway, police said. The car “then slid backwards for a short distance and then impacted a utility pole,” the report states.
“After impact, the vehicle re-entered the roadway and drove a short distance into the driveway of 716 W. Main St.,” according to the report.
Police allege that Tenney then fled into a nearby residence, where he was later found “bleeding severely” from the back of his head. While he was being questioned, Tenney reportedly showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol.
took Tenney to Paoli Hospital for treatment, police said.

Collegeville Man Accused of DUI
William McMenamin, 48, of Collegeville was injured in a car crash that occurred in the 100 block of Maple Avenue, Perkiomen Township, shortly before 6:30 a.m. Monday, March 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police. McMenamin is accused of driving under the influence, as well as driving too fast for conditions, the report states.
According to the report, McMenamin was driving a 2012 Mazda west on Maple Avenue when the vehicle traveled off the road and hit a residence’s mailbox. The car then hit two parked cars in the residence’s driveway, continued traveling “over a small grassy property divider,” and onto a neighboring property, hitting trash cans in the driveway, police said.
The vehicle eventually made its way back to the roadway, finally coming to an “uncontrolled rest” in the road, police said.
Trappe EMS took McMenamin to Paoli Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
“Through further investigation, it was determined (McMenamin) was DUI,” police allege.

Pennsylvania State Police Investigating Criminal Mischief Incident
Police are seeking information about a criminal mischief incident that occurred in the 100 block of Lodle Street in Perkiomen Township sometime between 8 p.m. March 7 and 9 a.m. March 8.
According to a police report, an unknown person (or people) damaged a patio bench.
