An unknown person or people burglarized a residence in the 3000 block of Wayland Avenue in Skippack Township, Tuesday, according to .

Several items were taken, police said; the items were not listed in the report. The incident occurred between 11:40 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., according to the report. Anyone with information is asked to the Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Barracks at 610-584-1250.

have charged Schwenksville man Thomas Davis, 27, in connection with a that occurred in February. His mother, Linda Davis-Flinn, 50, of Schwenksville, has been arrested on insurance fraud charges for allegedly filing a false claim about the involved vehicle's damage, police said.

According to a police report, a PennDOT truck was traveling west on West Park Avenue in Schwenksville, and as it “passed through the intersection at Summit Avenue,” an eastbound Toyota’s driver’s-side mirror hit the truck’s rear while making a left turn onto Summit. The mirror broke off the car, but the driver “fled north on Summit Avenue,” according to police. There were no reported injuries, police said.

During the investigation, Linda Davis-Flinn was identified as the Toyota's owner, police said. When questioned, she "stated that she was driving on an entirely different road and struck a tree, which caused the damage to her Toyota. She also reported the same information to her insurance company, Liberty Mutual," according to the report. "When confronted with the facts," the woman admitted she was covering for her son, Thomas, Pennsylvania State Police said. Police interviewed Thomas, and he reportedly admitted driving the vehicle. He was charged in connection with leaving the scene of an accident, according to the report. Police obtained the files of Davis-Flinn's accident claim to the insurance company; she was subsequently arrested.
