Crowds Turn Out for Lower Frederick Easter Egg Hunt

Children scour Coble Park, filling Easter buckets and baskets

While cooler temperatures, cloudy skies and morning rain impacted turnout at Lower Frederick's , the sunny skies and warmer weather encouraged more local residents to stop by for the April 7, 2012 event.

The park split the hunt according to the children's ages. Thirty-six "winner" eggs were scattered throughout the grounds, and the finders were entitled to candy or small toys on one of the tables.

The Easter Bunny was also on hand to pose for photos and dispense hugs and high fives.
