Why are you seeking elective office?
To better serve the students, teachers, and residents of the PVSD
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Re-focusing on STEM fields & Civics, weeding out electives/courses that are taking away from needed STEM & Civics courses.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I will not bring critical race theory into our schools. We need to teach actual American History. We need to teach how our country is supposed to work for all its citizens.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
The current office holders have failed the community and the teachers. They have mandated assurance testing for the teachers which will not work. They have a strict masking mandate and allow the ostracizing of students who've been exempted from the mask mandate.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
I will be a better steward of the voter's tax money than the current board. I want Civics re-instituted. I will get critical race theory out of our schools.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have experience of over 15 years being entrusted with multi-million dollar budgets to manage. I've lead large, diverse teams over multiple sites all across the country successfully.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Stick to your morals and foundational beliefs. They will be a steady rudder during trying times.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I try to be an open and honest collaborator who seeks consensus but isn't afraid to speak his mind and argue for what he believes in.
