Fire Crews Performed A Vehicle Rescue Tues. Morning Along The Banks Of The Perkiomen Creek
The initial report that came in stated a vehicle was actually in the creek, but arriving fire officials found the vehicle along the banks.

PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP, PA — Local fire crews performed a rescue along the banks of the Perkiomen Creek early Tuesday morning.
According to the Perkiomen Township Fire Company, emergency officials were dispatched at around 1:29 a.m. to an area of the Perkiomen Creek off of the 600 block of Gravel Pike (Route 29) in Perkiomen Township for an initial report of a vehicle that possibly drove into the creek.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that the vehicle was actually on the bank of the creek, and crews soon performed a "technical rescue" of the vehicle occupants, according to the fire company, which posted the news to its Facebook page.

Mutual aid partners were also called in to assist with the call.
Neighboring Skippack Fire Company was called to the scene, and marine units from Collegeville Fire Company, Upper Salford Volunteer Fire Company and Jefferson Fire Company No. 1 came out to assist on the rescue.

Firefighters were on scene for about two hours while the vehicle rescue took place, according to the Perkiomen Township Fire Co.
